I was born in Romania and have lived in London for the last 14 years. I came to know the city by walking, exploring the busy areas or the secret ones, learning its rhythms through movement and observation.
Photography grew from this way of being in the world. With a small camera or my phone, I work while moving, noticing what reveals itself along the way: passing light, quiet encounters, fragments of everyday life, the little things ˙ᵕ˙.
Travel is an essential part of my practice, both within the UK and beyond. I am repeatedly drawn to the sea, returning to coastal towns in different seasons, walking the same paths and observing their slow transformations. There is a persistent thought that one day I might find a place by the water to live.
And yet London remains my home. I am held by its culture, its intensity, its constant state of becoming, and by the freedom it offers — the possibility to depart and return, to move outward and begin again.
At its core, my work is shaped by curiosity.
