A Celebration of Light and Film
I wasn’t even planning to be there. Last-minute decision, no expectations — and suddenly I’m standing in Tate Modern’s South Tank, watching Celeste perform live, surrounded by Anthony McCall’s beams of light cutting through the dark like something out of a dream.
The sound, the space, the haze — it all hit different. Her voice just floated in the air, mixing with the projections, turning the whole place into this surreal, sensory thing you couldn’t really explain.
One night only. Right place, right time.
